ファビオ・アルが引退。グランツール全てでステージ優勝、2015年のヴェルタでは総合優勝もしてスカルポーニや二バリと共にイタリアを代表する総合系ライダーとして活躍。ここ数年は不調に苦しみながら、今年はキュベカに移籍して少しだけ復活の兆しがみえたなかでの発表でした。先日のヴェルタで無事完走し、笑顔で引退したファビオ・アルの約10年を写真とコメントで振り返ります。

鮮烈なデビューとたくさんの勝利
A lot of what I have achieved since those days is just a consequence of all my hard work and training and all those lessons about sacrifice and the art of winning that I experienced in my time at Palazzago.
